2. Turn on your stove auger and allow a few pellets to fall into the burn pot. Don’t throw in too many as you only need a few
3. Turn off the auger to prevent additional pellets from falling while you are trying to light up the fire
4. Next, open up the burn pot door and add the accelerant to the wood pellets. We highly recommend using accelerant approved for use with the wood pellet stoves. These usually come in gel or solid form. Majority of the wood pellet stove models available on the market recommend that you should avoid using any liquid accelerant
5. After that, you need to grab a long-reach butane lighter, like the ones that are used to light gas fireplaces or grills, near the pellets and then light it. Wait and hold the butane lighter against the pellets inside the stove until they ignite. We highly recommend you to hold your lighter against the areas where you have applied the accelerant. Finally close the burn pot door
6. Next, be patient until all the pellets have fully ignited. They should turn red around the edges when burning. It can take a few minutes for all of the pellets to catch on fire
7. Finally, turn on your stove’s blower motor and the auger. The auger should dump more of the pellets from the hopper and into the stove. However, it only dumps as much required to keep the temperature of your home comfortable and cozy. The blower helps to force the hot air spread easily to the new pellets without being smothered by them. In case the fire goes out, you should wait for the coals to cool so that you can clean them out of the stove. Turn off the blower motor and repeat the lighting process from the start

• Accelerant: You can use gel or solid accelerant
